Hi All

Well I picked up my first LC today and yes its a 100 series. I am extremely excited to get started with some tweaks. Although it has 220k miles I will be using it as my DD. It was a one owner and seems to be in pretty good shape. The guy I purchased it from is in his mid 60's so he took care of all the services.

Is there anything you guys would suggest as far as trans additives or anything else for a Cruiser of this mileage? I have looked around the forum already and I have some great ideas. Thanks in advance for any advice or information that may help me moving forward!

Welcome! It's always great to hear about someone owning the same Land Cruiser for 16 years. If he took good care of it you'll be set for another 16 years :). I'm guessing you won't find much support on MUD for transmission additives. Just do a good preventive maintenance with new fluids.

Pics or didn't happen:cheers:

Sounds as if you don't even need to baseline it - just ready and good to go.

This. Should be a forum rule. Pics before any text no matter what :). We all love seeing other rigs, that will help us get through the boring story lines . Oh and welcome!!

Sorry but I am already in the process if removing running boards tonight!

Congrats and nice rig! Welcome, and just research "baseline". Plenty of threads of all the preventative maintenance. Also replace heater "T"'s asap.

It looks and sounds well taken care of. Congrats and enjoy.
