Bad ass skills. Can't wait to see the finished product. If you still have the flares, I'll take them off your hands.LMK. I am currently in Monterey

Thank you

Got the steering setup, used carbide tip die grinder to enlarge the pitman arm to house 5/8 bolt.

Coped the axle mounts

To get the 3 link tubing dimensions right I use home depot 1-3/4 Conduit piping. Its about $2 a foot. Its strong enough to cycle the suspension. Once dialed in, Ill make the final cuts on DOM tubing. Also its waaaay lighter.

Gave it a couple tacks to keep it in place.

Trimmed the center link mount, to sit right on top of the axle.

Ill add support gussets on each side later when I burn everything in place.

After measuring out the coilovers I realized that I was coming up about 1" short of uptravel. Instead of 5 inches I was at 4'. So I scrapped the Barnes towers, didnt want to wait for shipping so I picked up some towers from Ruffstuff. Good thing that they are about 30min away from me.

I ended up taking about an inch off them to fit my setup.

Got the track bar link mounted

Also moved all of the steering linkges in between the steering arms. Mostly to prevent hitting the frame under flex on the passengers side.

started to cycle the suspension, everything clears on the passenger side.

Nice I love to 3 link and hope to set it up on mine some day. Already have the coiIovers and mounts set up about like you have them. Ruff stuffs new design is way better than the ones I used. I'll prabably never get the 6 " bolt that holds the top of the shock out. I always thought I'd put the top link in the driver side. I guess with the track bar on the passenger side that would be no good? I kept my exhaust inside the frame rail and takes up the space your top link uses.

Glad I'm not the only one that made the towers too short and had to get another pair :) Great progress, moving along quick!

Very nice. With this type of set-up, what can one expect in terms of increased articulation vs the stk setup?

Having links with heims allows for smoother flex compared to factory control arms.

Stock shocks are about 9" inches of total travel . Ill be running 14" coilovers. I built mine with slightly more uptravel at around 5.5 inches and the rest downtravel. So the suspension should be able to hug rocks with ease.
