I'f got a '89 BJ71 13bt wich has been badly restaurated.
They welded over the corrosion, used foam tho fill the hollow panels and beams...:bang:
You can guess in witch state she is for the moment...:crybaby:

Last winter i bought a donor body en had it sandblasted, afterworths i send to a bodyshop to weld news flares in it,it toke about 80 man ouhers to compleet it... Using no poyestyer filler, only brass!!!
Now i am preparing myself to swap the body, but first i have to prepare the donor doors and other stuff

The body was in a poor condition, thanks to the collision i coud see the bad retauration they have done...
So i searched a repleacement body and found a dutch body with fiberglas hood on it! (ugly!!)

Before i hat it sandblasted i removed al the corrodated bodywork , (not much te remove, was nothing left ;-) )
so the sandblaster could reach the platework underneath... Foto0544.jpg

Cosy is not the right word for it! ;) Foto1013.jpg
