Hello all. Been on Mud here for awhile. Mostly getting ideas and not really contributing much. I bought Capt. Jim's 80 about a year ago and am getting ready to START building. A little about me. Work on yachts and am currently doing a delivery from Casa de Campo in the Dominican Republic to Fort Lauderdale. Right now a little south of Rum Cay doing 12.5 slow knots. I get 8 days off a month, but they vary. I am married with a 19 month old daughter who ALWAYS wants to be outside, which I love. Hence me wanting to do an expedition style rig. Anyways, here is a want list for me and I will try and update as I go thru the list. Again, a BIG thanks to.all who contribute to these threads!

Welcome to MUD! Take out the money, enjoy your new addiction! Sounds like cool work. Your daughter will love the 80 as she gets older. Mine sure does! It looks like you have a good to-do list.

Love to finally see the rig..!!! looks amazing... I have your leather, just trying to get everyone's orders situated!!

Cheers More pics!!!

Last time I was home, I pulled the ARB off the front (Redneck ingenuity), got some rustoleum, and sprayed it. Removed the Warn winch that was dead and replaced with a smittybilt. Also put new IPF lights on it.

Some more shots. I know a bolt is missing. Had to fab some spacers for the back side cause winch hit on the ends.

Went to Corbett in Loxahatchee Fl today with the fam. Very hot and no breeze out there. A few Photos.
Yea, gotta love Florida, the heat, the humidity, no breeze. Wait, none of that is enjoyable! Looks like it was a fun ride.

Yeah. I am going to have to read some threads on keeping a tent cool if I want my wife and daughter to go.

Well, with 270k + on the odo, and drinking oil pretty good (about 1qt per fill up) decided to send her in for some TLC. After talking with the folks at ACC Garage, in Atlanta, I decided to go that route. Here is a list of what will be going on her before I get her back....

Please tell me you didn't trash that Warn winch? I'd love to buy it, and rebuild it if you still have it!
Cruiser looks great! Them new leathers really dressed it up. If you ever deliver any big boats up towards Wilmington give me a shout.
