Maybe I can just swap FJnotCJ data plates and save all the hassles of movin trucks... :D Would kinda like to know what color it is tho.

Nick

I have reduced the weighty bulk of 20621 greatly for ease of handling...it would look good in your backyard, possibly make a headboard out of it for you SO?

I think it was white or greyish

So, what's that switch on the dash to the right of the instrument cluster? Winkers?

Any idea of its original color?

Anyway, nice catch, Jim!! Congrats!!
And, you only have about 159 more 1960s to go to get a royal flush. :D

Nick has bragging rights for the oldest on IH8MUD here, the hardtop tub I sold him was 8FJ25.......... something or other. ;p

I think John P. has the motor out of something real early. By the way, the motor numbers aren't consecutive for my three.

Ummm...I think the data plate said it was a 1960. The list of number imported by year said there was only one in 1958. So I figured "no way, he wouldn't sell that..." and looked at the tub. No digital cameras here right now or I'd post a picture of the data plate. It's not me... and I'm pretty sure I'd piss someone off when I dropped the tub on my wheeling rig frame and beat the snot out of it too.

I'm thinking it was probably imported in 1959.......but who knows.

As long as it's running again, no one should care what form it takes, you won't be pissing any of us off! :D :D

Just to save face and get me back into the #2 position, I'll change my question to:

"Who has the oldest drivable, registered 25?"

:flipoff2:

so does it run?

:D :D :D Don't know, you supposed to check that kind of stuff before you buy? It is a 25, none of the junk I've kept has run.

Seriously, haven't really done anything with it........probably have to remove the tranny to find out though. :frown:

the one I sold to Paul Decker is a 1957 model, but it's not a US rig.
