What’s the function of GPS adaptive lights?
And do they need aimed down a bit, or just not utilized on road?

Thanks! I have another on the way for the other side, wanted to try one first before going all in.

As for the lights, they have 3 or 4 different lighting zones, ranging from scene lighting while stationary to spot when over about 40mph. There is also an override that turns them all on at once. I spend a lot of time on fire roads which vary in speed from 0-60mph, the lights help by slowly transitioning through lighting output as I speed up and slow down. I would not run them on the road.

They click out on the sides like an airplane headrest. When bumping around off-road they actually help a lot to hold your head in place. Technically not from a Range Rover, made for the 200, just RR-style.

More interior pics in case anyone is interested. Ignore the sandbags in the back, those are ballasts for my rear springs until my rear bumper arrives.

No, they’re manual. That control on the inner edge of the seat actually controls the seat, makes it easy to adjust when folding down the rear seats and what not.

Yeah, at one point I went on an AliExpress rampage and tried a bunch of little obscure things out. The headrests, wooden tailgate, dash led, and seat controller were all found there.

The seat controller is really neat. The receiver plugs inline with the factory seat controls using 200 correct pigtails and hides behind the lower seat cover. What you see on the side of the seat there is a wireless transmitter that gets stuck on with some double sided tape. I’ve had it for nearly 2 years and it’s been flawless.

On your black grille and door trim, did you paint/wrap or buy the black replacements off ebay? I'm curious on the fit and finish if you went the ebay route.

Thanks! She’s heavy, but I think really looks the part.

I painted the lower door chrome, upper front grill, headlight wings, and rear door trim. It pulls off easy enough, I had a body shop do the actual work of painting chrome plastic. They did an excellent job and it’s held up extremely well knock on wood. For the window door trims on the front and back doors I ordered the Toyota black replacement trims from the early 200 or 100 series, can’t quite remember but they were direct replacement and obviously look and fit great. On the cargo windows, they are built into the surround so one was replaced by the Emuwing. The other, for the moment, is very poorly vinyl wrapped by me until I get the other Emuwing in place.

Thought I would add one other of my favorite mods. These armrests are made by a company called One Stone and made my 200 MUCH more enjoyable.

Interesting. I almost think I might have more use for that from the tailgate area…. For instance if I were camping/loading larger items/etc and the second row seats were already folded, it could be convenient to be able to slide the front seats up without having to walk up to the front doors.

Definitely something I haven’t considered before.

It would be perfect for that. I can’t find the link for it anymore, but it was around $20 if I recall correctly.

Believe it or not, it was an AliExpress find. Don’t ask me how they found their way there, they look handmade, but very well done. There are a couple of people that have them for sale now.
