Well, I bought this truck with the intentions of it being my DD, but then I went and bought an 80. I'm also in the process of selling my 40, and I would rather have a troopy as my play truck than this diesel 62(crazy, I know) or a 40. I don't want to have to go through the trouble of selling and pricing and all that, so i figured there may be someone out there that wants to trade an expedition troopy for an expedition rig that's a bit more comfy. What I'm looking for is lhd troopy as rust-free as possible. It doesn't have to be a diesel, but it does have to be lhd. Mods are fine as long as it isn't hacked up.
Right now there's a problem with heat at highway speeds. When I drive faster than 55mph it starts to warm up. I've been told this could be the thermostat or some glitch as a result of the conversion and the gauge not meshing with the diesel sender. Whatever the case, I have a new temp gauge and sender to put in and i'm going to replace the thermostat before it goes anywhere.
I'll post links with pictures and try to list all the stuff on it.
here's the reason the 1hz was replaced with a 1hd-t

here's what i can think of:
1988 fj62 with power options
1hdt with less than 100,000 miles(beb's done)
h55
conversion originally done with 1hz by steve's offroad in atlanta
1hd-t installed by me with autometer gauges
pyro(drilled and tapped manifold), oil pressure, boost,
water temp(not installed yet)
toyota cable locker axles with 3.73 gears
front end rebuilt with marlin seals and 4 runner brakes with 80 mc
full float rear
ome heavy duty 2.5 lift
stock chrome wheels(black rims are not on it anymore) with 33x10.50 bfg mt's with less than 5000 miles
early version arb bumper with warn 8274
kaymar rear bumper with dual pivot(no attachments)
dual batteries
new radiator
hood shock conversion
hatch shock conversion
rear 12v source
interior has dynamat and quiet crap everywhere(and i mean everywhere)
i installed all the weather stripping kevin rowland sells-all doors and hatch/tailgate, exremely quiet ride
comfy procar elite seats in front with matching quadratec console(grey)
scion radio with usa spec for ipod hookup
new speakers throughout
kevin rowlands lockable tailgate storage
there's one rust spot that was under the fender trim(removed as much of the chrome as i could), but the truck is rust free other than that
the lockers don't have any cables hooked to them, but i have some downey cable conversion cables in the mail right now that i bought on mud.
located in Tunica, MS
$19,000 would take it, but would rather trade
