What have you guys runing? Idk what kinda muffler I want. Never had an aftermarket one before. I want a deepish noise, to reflect the awesome that is the LC. I was gonna get a Magnaflow glass pack but I heard that they're kinda loud?

I gotta do the same. The PO put it up with wire, its total junk.
I have a dynomax and i am impressed with it. Not to loud or annoying.

I've run the Flowmaster 50 Series Delta on a couple vehicles.. Good throaty exterior sound and not too bad inside LC. It's a 3 chamber so not as loud as the 40 series and 2 chambers..
Have one waiting to go on the new LC now when I get time.

Any other opinions on this? Looking to get a new muffler for the FJ62 as well...want something that's still pretty quiet but not as sad sounding as the stock muffler.
I'll post up what the shop installed in mine tomorrow when I had my whole exhaust done.. It sounds too much like a fart in a can for my tastes.

I recently replaced my exhaust from the manifold back, but was able to re-use the cats. The local shop just used their brand muffler. I'm pleased with it.

My muffler has no distinguishing markings on it at all.

Custom Y pipe, Single High Fow CAT, new O2 sensors, Magnaflow Exhaust, 2 1/2" all the way back.
Sounds throaty, but not like a muscle car or the teenagers in their rice burners. Nice and strong, just right.

I was thinking about getting the magnaflow glass pack but i think that would sound to ricey for my tastes. And probably louder than I want as well. Which Magnaflow muffle do you have NYNick?
I have a Summit Racing Muffler. I think it was ~$30. Sounds pretty decent. I have some videos in my youtube channel linked under my username. They are like 2 years old but I'll do a new one some day

I too am pleased with my Flow Master 50 series. Running header, 2 1/2" pipe
magnaflow and flow master are the best made mufflers I think.. I consider the magnaflow to be not as loud as the flowmaster...but on a 60 with stock I-6...the loud factor is not really an issue. I don't think you would go wrong with either.
Doesn't show which model on my receipt. Just says Magnaflow. No markings on muffler. Must be Magnaflow universal type, 2 1/2" in/out. Sounds great though.

I have a no name muffler that I think I paid 16 bucks for at advance auto. I took measurements of the original and they let me go in back and find a generic muffler that had the same specs. It took about 20 min But I found one that mated right up to everything.
