A buddy of mine is looking at buying a 2.5 ton mid 70s ford dump truck from a farmer in Raleigh . Runs and drives, mechanically sound, but the gearing tops it out about 55mph. He asked if i may know someone who had a tow rig/trailer beefy enough to be willing to transport it between railegh and kernersville. he would compensate accordingly .

Yeah, won't fit in the motel, but if your buddy can find a trailer I can tow it. I also have the requisite license to do such a thing.

I told him to run hwy 64 to either 421 or 220, to the road that cuts back thru high point to kvegas.

I got enough problems in my life than to drive a 50 year old dump truck. LOL

well change of plans... farmer texted him this morning and said someone bought it and drove it home last night.
