Woody -- Let me know when you'll be up this way for Rubicon/Fordyce -- I have a few days to burn. Twiddy would probably be up for it as well.

I even got my fuel issues figured out. dang.

Ron, hows the toy coming??? getting the Jeep dialed in.. 4.56s installed with a detroit for the front!!! Tube fenders for the front and new brake booster/master ass. and Im finished!! Phil helped me get the steering dialed in as well so now I can actually turn left!

Picking it up Monday, Eibach has been lagging on getting the springs to the shop.
 
not sure I can hang on this coast for that long tho...have to be home a couple weeks before driving back out for SEMA....

In Vegas now with the 40, should be working on it some today!
 
I'm looking forward to this one! I might be able to make it to the Rubicon as well, so once you figure out the dates post up. I'm not sure about Fordyce though, still need to figure out my schedule later in October. I have a Dirt Bikes on the Rubicon trip planned a the end of the month that I need to prep for. See you guys at the Expo in a few days.
 
the Raisin (40) appears ready....need a torque wrench on it tomorrow, but fixed a few issues today....

who knew that the Spal fan on my trans cooler was directional :flipoff2: - a few missing nuts and bolts are now replaced too...apparently, they rusted clean away (that's my story)

I'm 'targeting' myself at home on the 17th...which puts a few things as mid-week...but we'll see...just know I need a LITTLE time at home before I drive back out for SEMA and Surf-N-Turf!
 
Oh How I miss those days. Taking all the time. Just wheeling around the country. Im not sure my Van can do the hammers tho. My Junk is still in the driveway in Ohio, and I am stuck in Vegas. I did Call VooDoo. Yea he and only will be there the next week.

I think I need to get back to Wheeling. Woody has hit more trails than Those Guys now. I didnt think getting paid to ride Trail Teams counts. But now he has his junk on the west coast, He has us beat.

So Woody, is everyone out here looking at it with amazement at the amount of rust it has?

BTW Frydaddy is planing on being here for SEMA. I got him hooked on sailing the HobieCat. So SEMA is an excuse to get out here.

Mace was shocked....it IS rusty...but mostly functional....lol

I'm planning SEMA, then SnT, then backtracking to Clayton and maybe Gilmer for the month of Nov....that's Tour Beta v0.2 ;) (home for Thanksgiving tho, family time)

'might' hit the Kokopelli again prior to SEMA, but not sure I can make the time....I DO miss my own bed....surprise surprise!

Plan for SnT....I'll have the 40 AND the 80 on the gooseneck...if you promise not to jump either of them...(Christo may steal the 80...have to see....course, he makes the same promise...lol)

'MUD Tour: Beta v0.1 is hitting the schedule...RonQ, Tim Scully and I are all finishing up our Trail Team schedule in Pomona...I've made arrangements to have my FJ40 in Los Angeles at that time....so we are gonna WHEEL!!

Start:
The HAMMERS in Johnson Valley CA on Monday October 6th thru the 7th...

followed by Dusy Ershim
followed by the Rubicon
followed by Fordyce
followed by Moab
...and maybe more...

Dates are being finalized now...it's a bit 'open' since we don't have our closing meeting dates set for the Trail Teams...but figger they'll occur pretty close to consecutive...

Hammers on Monday and Tuesday are the biggies...figger LOTS of folks are going to be at the Offroad Expo in Pomona anyways, may as well get in some wheel time immediately after...

Marlin is likely makin' it...Jon from AllPro....4WDTO outta be there....and maybe a few others....

Man this sounds fun!
I can offer up a camping spot on the river that is only 1 hour from the Rubicon Trail if you guys need one. Other than that, I can't make it but it gonna be a blast.:)
 
I hate being responsiable!!!!!:crybaby:, I miss the days of single life and the carefree life style that goes with it:grinpimp:. Wish I could be on the trail with you guys. But the Saab would not do any of the trails on the west coast. The crusier is in colorado and I have work to finish in LA. But I am looking forward to being at SNT this year with the family. Looking forward to the stories and the pics:popcorn:
