Merry Christmas everybody!

Today I'm finally going to replace the radiator and all hoses. We'll see how it goes. I figure if it doesn't get done now, it won't be done before the MLK weekend, and I don't want to drive that far anymore without getting this done.

I got a full set of hoses and two extras in back of mine to swap out when I flush radiator and replace cap......just too damn lazy right now. Hoses are in pretty good shape...just starting to bulge slightly around clamps.

Good luck...

Has anyone ever used the Prestone Flush Kit or do you just drain then stick hose through top and disconnect the return on radiator for the full flush?

There is a drain on your rad on the bottom right hand side. I've always drained from there or just cut a hose that i was going to replace and let it go from there.

Radiator, valve cover gasket, fluid flush and change, clean throttle body...I even switched my front seats so as to ride in comfort again...

Then I go to leave work last night and the starter won't turn over.

I LOVE Land Cruisers! Granted, it's 20 years old with 168k and probably never had all this stuff looked after.

Hopefully, I'll be running right and true this weekend. Watkinsville is a long way to go to have Ms. Cuban take another nap.

I switched the passenger and driver's seats. I can't afford new ones nor can I fab brackets for Volvo seats. This will have to do for a while.

I should not be allowed to own cruisers. It wouldn't crank because I left it in drive.:censor:

:ban:

When I get the seats you are welcome to mine if you want them....I had the driver restuffed by upholstery company down here...and passenger is still feeling new. No tears in material either but doubt the blue will match your rig. :D :D

I may take you up on that. Let me know!
