I'm in the middle of switching careers so everything is a little unstable at the moment. That being said, I will probably still do some camping and I'd love to do a little wheeling in the coming months. I'm open to locations for both. I want to run Potts but I'd prefer to have another vehicle with me since I haven't been there before. Getting stuck on the trail all by my lonesome doesn't sound like a good idea...but I can only keep the voices in my head at bay for so long...

Great thread here, hope to meet all the new folks soon. I am in SW Roanoke county at the foot of Bent mtn, happy to host as well. I see lots of good trips in the future.

@LandSnoozer93 let me know if you need your 60 driven back to Roanoke from California. I will be there mid May and keep putting off the flight home.

I made that trip in 1993 in an 86 CJ7 soft top with my 14yo brother after getting out of the Army, good times.

Great thread and glad I can find my local Noke peeps. I'm from the Roanoke area and currently living in the Grandin area and generally hang out with @1428Mike (but I don't tell many people) so hit us up when its wheeling time. Just throwing this out to my fellow LC family that if you are moving to the area or moving around the area then let me know...I'm a Realtor and it would be awesome working with ya. 540-312-9202. Cant wait to go wheeling with all of ya!

Camping with Rufus. My dog.

You guys like to do any camping or just wheeling with your cruiser? Just curious.
I do both. I camp out of the 60 and do medium light wheeling and then more harder stuff with the 40.

Way harder.

Pretty stoked, Sunday I get to help @mwalls54 get his tranny slapped back up in his 40 and then we get to go start a 55 recovery in the woods up at smith mountain lake!

Nice. Good luck with the 55.

Haven't seen it.

I find it hard to believe that a nice 80 like this with sliders and a nice roof rack just happened without somebody being an enthusiast. That thing is clean.
