What are some mounting solutions for a 2013 Land Cruiser to be able to mount my iPhone, Mini iPad (offline maps) and InReach (GPS/ SOS)? Do you mount them all side-by-side? Different mounting spots? Thx!

I use a combo of the X-Naut, some ram mounts and a delorme cradle. I’m likely going to switch to an inReach mini soon.

the X-naut rocks at keeping the iPad cool, especially when heading west in the afternoons. No more “iPad too hot” warnings.

I have been unsing an iPad Pro with the smart case which easily attaches magnetically to the speaker grill. I bought a magnetic lightning adapter and routed a cable for power...

So you don't need to access the original nav?

I flip the iPad over when I need to see the backup cam or adjust AC, the magnetic cable reattaches automatically...

mart Cover for iPad (7th generation) and iPad Air (3rd generation) - Black

Ha! I have this case, but never tried sticking it onto the speaker grill like that. Thanks!

So simple and genius! I was struggling with how to do a nifty iPad mount. Looks like you’re on LTE which makes sense. Basically like you have CarPlay?! So the Smart Cover magnet is strong enough to prevent the iPad from moving or sliding?

The latest iPads I believe are all USB-C which is what I have. Did a quick search for those who may have a similar one:
1) ThunderMag: The World's First Thunderbolt3 & 100W MagSafe

2) SNAPNATOR, MagSafe Alternative, Magnetic Chargers for  Apple MacBook

Yeah or something like this but black...USB-C mag
And yes the magnets on the smart case are good enough especially because the OEM screen in on an incline so the ipad rests right on it

GENIUS!!!!

I'm an Apple guy (except no Mac, just devices) and literally just bought a cheap Samsung tablet from Costco for running GaiaGPS and other stuff. I will be going back tomorrow and returning it to use this approach!

More of an "expo" look but I have been using a Ram Telepole in the 100 and now the 200.

Is that the ram mount that wedges next to the seat?

Nope. This is the flex arm type which mount on the passenger seat mounting bolt. It will wobble a bit, not as steady as @sdnative ram mount solution.

Here is the addon for ipad mount and extra arm for Garmin inreach.

Ah. Yeah, stability is near the top of my list of priorities. I hate the idea of large accessories like that moving around a bunch with every bump.

Paging @Markuson for his setup which is quite slick.

Here’s how I mount several items, all without sticking on or drilling into anything. You could substitute my HAM control screen with a phone or other item, etc. All RAM mount balls.

Utilizes bolt threads on handle:

Best part is it doesn’t obstruct driver view...and can be mounted or removed while in or out of the vehicle.
Also puts each item within finger reach while still holding onto/stabilized by steering wheel. On bumpy trails, this can help a ton for quick adjustments.

It's not as bad as you think. I flex the arm toward the passenger seat. Using the passenger seat, it will secured the arm to the center console (wedge it). The plastic wrap over the metal rod help prevent scratching the center console. I use this setup all over LCDC trail run and highway cruising.

What size bolt are you using for that, I just receive this in the mail today but found out the bolt is quit big compared to stock.
