Figured I'd post up some follow up pics for you guys who aren't on fcebook. This is how it looked after I got home and took the dressing off. It seems to get a little better every day. Still alot of pain, but I can handle it.
The worst part in all of this is the fact that I have to rely On other people to do everything for me.

Those are from a few days ago man. Post new ones and follow the doctors orders for recovery. Not too fast and not too slow.

Damn Ryan, bummed to find out you had an accident like that. You'll be better in no time. My fall off a motorcycle wasn't nearly as bad, no hospital, but it certainly made me a better rider. The guy I bought my first bike from said the same thing about riders that have fallen and will fall but he added a statement that sunk in even more. He said " the minute you stop paying attention a motorcycle will jump up and bite you in the ass." Couldn't be said better. Now when I'm on a bike I'm in a different world mentally. I fully expect the unexpected and never rely on anybody but myself to keep me safe.

Keep us posted on your recovery and get back on as soon as you can. And look both ways twice.

Ouch...that's going to leave a scar...
sorry to hear, Ryan...I love to ride, but I don't like the traffic.
That's why I gave you that gear. It's just to nerve racking for me to try to get to a place where there's no traffic.
Get better soon, and hope to see you on the trails..(Logans Run??)
