Most tire you can get under a GX470 pre-lift?

Looks like more than the 265/70/17 is a pretty hard sell, is that accurate? Even some 265/70/17 seem to rub slightly in some conditions.

Don't have the time to do a lift yet, but need some new tires for winter.

I'm running 265/70/17 Duratracs, no rubbing that I've ever heard from in the truck, some slight signs of rubbing on some of the wheelwell plastics, likely in a bump-mid-turn situation, or reverse and sharp turning situation. Nothing to worry about regardless, and these tires have some of the more aggressive side lugs that I've seen. Possibly worth mentioning I'm on FJ Cruiser 6-spokes which are wider than stock wheels, not sure about backspacing differences.

Those are high on my list, thanks for the info. I will research the back spacing difference.

FWIW, our GX is on 265/70/17 BFG AT's with stock wheels and suspension. it rubs slightly when reversing at a sharp turn.
