I am lusting after Icon Stage 3s, maybe next year, BIOR skid plates next ...

Double din head unit and 285/75/16 BFG Mud Terrain tires. The tires make it look tough.

For me it's hard to beat a new set of tires in the satisfaction category. The look, feel and security are something that can be enjoyed on every trip.

So far the tires. Definitely the tires. Just changed the overall look and performance of it for the better. 285/75/16 General Grabber AT2 and for under $700 shipped for the set. I'm happy.

I got rid of the silver/grey side molding and bumpers painted the side molding gloss body black... the bumpers I used black bed liner, 18" chrome wheels & tires (craigslist find) spent a lot of time just on detailing... It is by no means an "off road truck" had 7 in it this past weekend for a trip to the local dirt short track for my 12yo's birthday... that is the most MUD it has seen ...

#1 - Dual Battery System install. Never have to worry about being stranded by a dead battery ever again.
#2 - On-board compressor install (and tire repair equipment). Never have to worry about being stranded by a flat tire ever again.

How did u convert the transfer case ? Separate write up coming ?

I spent the last 15 minutes providing my thoughts on this and your site dumped it all ... so, I'll just say the conversion is well documented in these two threads Converting HF2AV Transfer Case into Part Time Transfer Case and part time conversion w pics.

In terms of effort/reward ratio I'd say greasing the driveshafts was major. Also, cleaning the TB and MAF was pretty satisfying as well for pretty low input. The mother of all was removing those running boards!

Adding the fridge, slide, and electrical is pretty high up there, we use it all the time. After that, probably the Bluetooth double DIN, and removing the running boards. I don't really count mechanical work as satisfying, but it can definitely make you feel good if you DIY something and save a lot of money.

1. Stereo replacement, especially Focal speakers
2. Suspension

Absolutely replacing the stereo. To me, it really was the only thing that made the vehicle at all feel dated. Holy crap is it nice to have CarPlay, Bluetooth, et al. And of course massively improved speakers and adding bass.

Grease repack, new nitro UCA, replace UCA ball joint and bushings... Oh replacing all fluids with synthetic.. I love the peace of mind of a properly lubed hundy!

Hands down my Ironman 50L fridge. Best!
