Hi! IF you're willing to share, I thought it might be helpful for the rest of us to better understand what the market prices are for the 200 series (and LX 570 I suppose). I'm personally looking for one, have found a few, and curious what others' purchase prices have been so I can negotiate (or not) properly.

Please share purchase price, year, mileage at purchase, and location (east/west/south, etc...)

Thanks and happy hunting for those also looking.

I honestly dislike you guys. I had not given any thought to selling the LC that I didn’t even know those were a thing until now. F

Edit: expensive way to make sure I get CarPlay next time

You can easily install an aftermarket carplay system that taps into the OEM head unit. I installed mine in less than 2 hours.

Acquired a 2010 lx570 with 158,000 miles for $24,000 in NJ from a dealer ($3,000 in fees). It needs a new radiator, headlamp and gear oil so figure an additional $2,000 for parts and labor to bring it up to snuff.

Thanks for sharing. Seems a lot of LXs priced 20-25k end up needing 2-5k on deferred maintenance. Seems reasonable for well maintained LXs to hang at upper 20s with 150k or higher miles

So 13 years ago in 2012 we bought a 12 year old LC for our family vehicle. It has faithfully served us but has over 235k miles on it and Id like to get the wife into something less than 25 years old... But man! The prices of 200 series are insane!

I love the looks of the 2016 front end and would love to get one but it seems they are like 50k? I think we paid 12k for our 10 year old 100 when we bought it!

And to make it more difficult the cdn dollar has been terrible for years against the greenback so nobody has been importing them and we just have the LX up here and after 13 years in a LC it will be difficult to settle.

That's just my rant 😄 I hope to find the right one over the next year or two and I'm jealous of you guys 😄

This is one of the better deals I’ve seen in recent weeks. Asking $94k for a 1 owner, sub 10k miles, clean history, and a CPO warranty. If it was Terra interior or an HE it would probably already be in my garage!

$94,000 and still missing the the rubber piece that fills the channel under the roof rails.

But yeah, this is about as close to a new 200 as you can get.

I did not notice that. Good catch and should be about as easy a fix as possible I’d think? Many other examples like this have been listed in the 6 figure range so felt like it was still a deal (relative) worth sharing.

I'm messing around. You can replace all of those rubber pieces for a few hundred bucks. I needed 4 of them when I bought my 2021.

I agree with you on it being a good deal. TX vehicle too so underbody should be in good shape.

Not being an HE, it is pushing IMO. You really have to want an LC or a V8, when you could pay the same $94k for a 2023 or even some 2024 LX600s with a much more modern cabin.

I mean it’s $11k more than I paid for my base and mine had 20,000 more miles.

Seems like a major premium for 2 years worth of miles but I won’t be surprised if it sells.

New LX for the Missus, and to add to the Hoarde/Addiction...
Already have a 79 FJ40, 85 FJ60, 94 FZJ80, FJ40 Buggy/Crawler.

I am fairly certain I overpaid a bit for this, but I wanted something to haul our camper with, and not use my work truck any more. And didn't want to go buy another truck.

That list of mods and the condition of the car I’d suggest you did quite well.

Congratulations!

Still on the hunt for a 13-15 LC. What's a fair price for a clean ~100k mile, 1 owner example?

In my mind, these examples should be priced around $36-39k. Is that wishful thinking? Equivalent age/mileage LX's can be found all day for $30-34k.

View attachment 3932687You did not overpay, IMHO. That's a really nice rig, and well equipped. Enjoy, and thanks for sharing those details. That's very helpful for the rest of us trying to figure out this market.
