Hi! IF you're willing to share, I thought it might be helpful for the rest of us to better understand what the market prices are for the 200 series (and LX 570 I suppose). I'm personally looking for one, have found a few, and curious what others' purchase prices have been so I can negotiate (or not) properly.

Please share purchase price, year, mileage at purchase, and location (east/west/south, etc...)

Thanks and happy hunting for those also looking.

Hello. I'm looking at buying my families first LX570. I've read lots of great things. I'm considering purchasing this one, private party, in Arizona. Car looks to be have owned only in AZ/TX. Having local Lexus dealer do a full inspection. Seller says it was maintained the last several years at the local Lexus dealer that the PPI will be done. Here's the specs... is the price reasonable (assuming PPI comes back clean??)

2015 - $35k asking price
120k miles
Additional features and options include:
- luxury package
- Mark Levinson sound system
- park assist
- dynamic radar cruise control
- ceramic paint protection
- Xpel full ceramic window tint with rain guards
- all-weather floor mats and cargo mats
- 20" premium wheels
- new Michelin tires
- tow hitch

For a little more you could get into a 2016+. Better transmission (8 spd), adaptive cruise and all the good safety features, slightly less antiquated tech, and uglier (or better looking depending on your taste).

IMO the 8 spd trans and adaptive cruise are worth it.

Bigger brakes too.

I recently flew down to Tucson to look at this 2008 LX570 with173k miles for $21,500 1 owner, Lexus service records of history. Within the last 10k miles radiator, starter, front brakes, battery and all fluids. Upon my inspection I found the valley plate coolant leak. Other then that the vehicle performed well, Cam towers were dry no signs of leaks. I was able to start the truck cold, no sighs of timing chain rattle. Interior (9/10) was excellent I don't think kids were ever in the back seats. Exterior was really clean too (8/10). Lexus home link 1 button was faded which is a good indicator of being garage kept. Unfortunately we couldn't make a deal after I brought that to their attention. Dealer had their budget and I had mine. Nothing personal just business. Everyone there was really nice and friendly. Sharing for someone looking for a clean LX with a bigger budget than mine. :flipoff2:

Steal or scam? 🤔

They did a better job than most scammers. Couldn't find those pics on a reverse image search anywhere and the VIN checked out but obviously the price was too good to be true. Listing removed now.

To contribute something actually useful to the thread, it seems like prices here in Utah are getting a little more reasonable. There's something for everyone here whether you want a low mileage early model to build/keep forever, a late model with decent miles to buy instead of a brand new Sequoia/GX550 or whatever, or even a couple high mileage early models in the $20-25K range

So that 2016 has never been driven? Or is that a scam as well?

No on the listing they say 76K miles. Not sure why they couldn’t be bothered to include it- you know how used car salesmen are haha

Haha I do indeed. Definitely some decent pricing on there though. How bad does Utah salt the roads (if at all)?

We get some pretty bad salt. Buying a used car here is hit or miss, can't skip the undercarriage inspection. Sometimes you'll find owners that either don't drive much in the winter or take good care of them - I bought a Tundra last year that was spotless underneath even though it was a few years old. I spray all my vehicles with woolwax annually.
