Sorry you’re going through that.Yes, I did get it looked at today by a Lexus non-dealer place. They saw a rear main seal leak, to fix was $2,250 they were about half what the dealership was and let me bring my own accumulator globe and rear shocks. They also saw what looked like an oil pan leak. Steering rack and pinion job only $2,200. So if I do new driver bottom seat cover I will be into it for $35K for a 2011 LX570 with 175K miles on chassis and ??? on engine block with new control arms and new stock suspension, new steering rack. I would of much rathered bought some of these other cars posted. Those are great deals.
Makes me feel more confident when I was asking $28k for my well sorted 2013 with 170k miles. Decided to keep it as it’s just so damn good at everything we ask of it. Jack of all trades.
The multiple 22-23k offers were too low for me and your experience shows me 28k for a well maintained is worth it.
