Hi! IF you're willing to share, I thought it might be helpful for the rest of us to better understand what the market prices are for the 200 series (and LX 570 I suppose). I'm personally looking for one, have found a few, and curious what others' purchase prices have been so I can negotiate (or not) properly.

Please share purchase price, year, mileage at purchase, and location (east/west/south, etc...)

Thanks and happy hunting for those also looking.

I think there’s a lot of 200 owners who love the platform and will drive it for the next 10+ years. Again a game of supply and demand- I suspect 200 prices will not drop much other than a bit more normal depreciation.

I bet we see a larger % of 100 series & 4Runner folks making the switch compared to 200.

I thought that we would see a stronger drop in sales prices when interest rates ballooned, however I do not think we have seen much if any correlation. Hard to convince someone with a 200 to sell something and buy at higher rates. Plus I wonder how many 200 owners even finance; guessing this is a third car for many so the rates impacting sales more broadly are not hitting 200. That being said, I think dealers are probably happy to carry a 200 for a long time in prayers of hitting a high price, and then send to auction instead of cutting prices. Definitely seeing individuals dropping prices though, while dealers not yet ready.

That's what happened to me. My wife and I test drove an LX600. We liked it alright but our options were:
- trade in our paid off 200 and still have a decent sized payment to afford this $110K car
- finance and gain an additional mortgage sized payment per month
- pay cash

Needless to say we're not doing any of that and we'll be living dave ramsey style for the foreseeable future. As someone who loves buying cars I hate to admit it but it feels good to be fiscally responsible for once in my life haha

So lack of new vehicles and high rates are causing lack of inventory of the 200 series?
Yeah! There is a finite number of 200’s!

Most are owned by fiscally conservative folks with clear titles with money earning a good return. Currently there are very few comparable vehicles to move into, no new 200’s, only a few 300’s (all Lexus) and if model loyalty is really a factor, they can’t trade for a 250, yet!

So that leaves a few Domestic vehicles and a handful of European, most in shortish supply and not “great” deals.

Why would they trade a 200 and borrow money at a high rate so they don’t take funds from high returning accounts to pay above market for a new car?

I did mention in an earlier post, there will be a few people swap a 200 for another 6000 lbs GVWR rig to reset the tax deduction, so I think there will be a few pop up in Domestic dealers inventory the next few weeks.

I could be convinced to part with my 200. I love it but everything is for sale for the right price. I have my 100 series I can drive so don’t really need 2 cruisers. It’s overbuilt for my lifestyle - 35s, Ironman Bumper. Stock AHC- works flawlessly.

Just completed a 4k mile road trip- was great for my young family.

SOLD - 2013 LX570 for sale Boise, ID - https://forum.ih8mud.com/threads/2013-lx570-for-sale-boise-id.1315119/

Why selling so soon? Just bought for the road trip back from ID?

No real reason- I love it and it’s set up super nice- bumper and 35s are a bit much for my dad duty haha although I love the way it looks. Thinking a truck might fit my needs better.

Tinted windows, added recovery points and changed the oil.

Everything is for sale for the right price (except my 100  )

Get the popcorn out to see where this one goes: 2010 Toyota Land Cruiser URJ200 - https://bringatrailer.com/listing/2010-toyota-land-cruiser-2/

2010, 145K miles, some corrosion/rust and maybe even cigarette smoke? Guessing this will not hit reserve as seller is optimistic. However, BaT is weird and maybe someone really wants one of these. Remember 5% buyers premium on top of it. Should be sub $30K in my book, maybe even closer to $25K if it really reeks of smoke. Guessing seller looking for $35k.
Bid to $21.5K, reserve not met. Bit surprised there was not more interest, but I really do think that buyers are holding off on LC200s that are not clean. Everyone waiting for that perfect rust free, great condition, 4X4 that they can drive for 20 years rather than something a little less polished. Particularly 08/09/10.

Maybe the markets not as strong as they want

A facelift went that low? I've seen several 08-11s from 11k-higher teens but not any 13+.
It was at a Porsche dealer, original price was 22k but it was listed at 18xxx last week 240k miles

My brother called to tell me we had a 6 hour drive to get his Lexus and when I called to buy it, she was gone

Called about a 2014 LC that appeared in excellent condition/history but 246k at a Lexus dealer in Alabama listed for $20.9k and had sold before I called.

Cheapest right now is 21450 on Facebook with 140k, in NC has a bullet hole in it
Yeah I want to see pics of this, post them up! For a 2013 that seems like a good deal unless the bullet went through the block, or it is a known gang car and you will got shot at again.
