Hi! IF you're willing to share, I thought it might be helpful for the rest of us to better understand what the market prices are for the 200 series (and LX 570 I suppose). I'm personally looking for one, have found a few, and curious what others' purchase prices have been so I can negotiate (or not) properly.

Please share purchase price, year, mileage at purchase, and location (east/west/south, etc...)

Thanks and happy hunting for those also looking.

All of the 16+, even with 85,000 miles are still in the mid to upper $60k range.

@cheezy, there is a '15 at Covert Bastrop with 96k that has been there for a while that's listed at $46,9. You may be able to get close to $40k there.
Yeah, it was originally listed at $50k. I was on their ass a few weeks ago trying to get it for ~$43k, knowing it would sit.. Sure enough it's now been on the lot 70+ days.

Price check on a '14 LC with 85k miles? One owner but the carfax is lacking regular oil change data. Toyota Owners notes brakes replaced and rotors turned last month. Original radiator. Will get a PPI. Asking $49k...
Pricing seems on par with what the market is asking, however guessing that it will sit for quite a while. Anything 13 or newer and less than 100K miles is going to be $45K plus probably (unfortunately). They just retain their value.

Another comp to this one, though MN car so might not be super clean on the undercarriage. Been sitting for at least a few months - MN 15 LC 90K miles $50K

Can I get some feedback on this? Thinking about pulling the trigger on a 2019 LC with 102k miles for $57.5k. Truck is in pristine shape and completely stock.
Seems to be right on the trend line for price vs. miles of the vehicles listed in our area. Only 2 weeks at that dealer, so I'd be surprised if they move much more until the end of the month.

Some options here in Dallas depending on how far you’re willing to travel. I test drove 2016 LX, black on black with all the bells and whistles at park place Lexus in Plano. $52k with 90k miles. Price is decreasing and it’s been about 3 months so it might be close to auction. Clean and perfect maintenance. There is also a 2016 white cruiser with terra interior at park place Land Rover near DFW airport. $54k with a little over 100k miles. Good car fax record and drives better than the LX in my opinion.

A tale of two LC's that I just looked at. Both at dealers. Both '21.

Black with Terra. Rear seat entertainment. A lot of undercarriage rust for the year. Rear hatch did not open and close as it should. 65K miles. 69K

With with black. No DVD's. Very clean. No rust. No rips/tears/etc. 39K miles. 80K

How did a '21 already have so much rust? That is a bit suspicious that early on. 2, maybe 3 winters max on it? Or they loved loading their salt water boat after driving on abrasive terrain?

No idea. I can tell you that a quick look underneath was all it took for me to be a "big NO"

Just looked at a 2018 LX 570 with 95K miles for 62,500.00.

I saw 62500 outside thought it was the mileage, but yeah.. too much. I looked at MB Sprinter but all their 2023 and onwards have AWD instead of 4wd and 2 Liter diesel with twin turbo.

Was watching this 2015 very closely on BaT, lower than expected but maybe that is market adjusting finally.

2015 LC, 75K miles, clean, and lots of mods. Sold for $49K & 5% buyers fee. JTMHY7AJ0F4033559

This makes it look like @VWEeplusa made out like a bandit! Guess everyone wants a clean white LC200 for the NATO / UN package.
I've seen few comments on this forum that BaT give higher premiums and according to this article this is true Is there really a Bring a Trailer premium? - Hagerty Media - https://www.hagerty.com/media/market-trends/hagerty-insider/bring-a-trailer-premium/

But when sold after take an average of 20% loss. Thats a big drop.

I also noticed a trend that last 3 land cruisers auctions had no reserves. This is a bit risky because it brings higher values until it doesn't.

There is quiet and appeal it seems, especially for really well presented eye candy trucks. But for others welcome to the no reserve bids.

Considering one of them was action bought and dumped 3 times within a month, probably still a good profit margin even with no reserve bid.

Brings a slight smile to my face to see that our least favorite flipper has in fact not flipped the LC200 he bought in VA and moved to Colorado Springs:

1/23 Listed on ih8mud for $25K Original IH8MUD Listing
2/23 Flipped and listed for $33K on FB marketplace in CO
7/23 Now listed for $30K and unsold: 2009 Toyota land cruiser 200K $29,800

Sadly do not have the VIN to help current searchers. Never got confirmation what it sold for, but definitely less than $25K.

Snow bunnies in Aspen apparently have moved on from the LC scene, or at least the old modded ones.

For all the cheap 200 series hunters, here is one that you may have just missed. Single owner and in TX its whole life. Looked on dealers website and it was not there, so likely sold. I honestly was a bit tempted with this one. Wondering if we we see <$20K <200K LC200s before a full reveal of the Land Cruiser 3.0 or whatever.

VIN JTMHY05J895003886

2009 LC 233K $20,500
