Of movies that made an impact... Forbidden Planet is probably the one that stuck. Creatures of the ID and Robbie the Robot... way ahead of its time. Not sure that was the one I spent my rare silver dollar on; but was that era (ticket was 25 cents). The idea nightmares could come true still haunts me.

There Will Be Blood, Treasure of the Sierra Madre, Fast Times at Ridgemont High, Halloween, and Cool Hand Luke are a few that I love that come to mind.

Poltergeist at 11. Gotta love being baby sat by your 14 and 15 year old siblings. Guaranteed to leave a deep, scarring, eternal mark!

Anything with Robert Duvall, or Chistopher Walken....

One of my all time favorite classics?
North by Northwest.

Rush Hour. I will never forget this line "Do you understand the words that are coming out of my mouth?", and I use it a lot :)

Looks like they used one of my old cars see the 10 sec mark

First movie my parents let me go see alone. Smokie and the Bandit

Sally Fields still makes me drool, Hank Williams comedy was great, I can still hear Burt laugh and anytime you have Jackie Gleason in a movie it can't be bad! Not to mention as a kid, that Trans Am was BAD! :steer:
