It's just south of Albany.

Better yet, come to the Coal Mine Cruiser Classic in July...

mebbe a rear axle seal as well?;)

Looks like a new shock is in order too!

Nick

Well Nick, I suspect you said this because the shock is beat up and all greasy... but it was that way the last time I had it disconnected and it was still fine...

No so this time. It moves without the least bit of resistance through it's whole range of motion... it's DEAD. I hadn't noticed any bouncing or odd ride characteristics but there you have it...

Score another one for Nick!

Do you mean a diff to housing gasket?

Mark

Nope, he means the one inside the brake drum that's leaking oil all over the inside of the tire next to the broken spring. :p A seal or the brake wheel cylinder is or was leaking on the tire. Unless the tire was rotated there from another spot on the truck when you rotated the street tires back onto the rig.

Tires could have been rearranged for sure. Now I see the streaks... further investigation is in order!

Thanks,
Mark

I'm the guy that stopped by your place a while back and bought a rear carpet when you were doing your yard sale of land cruiser stuff, and then I stopped in the middle of route 25 when you were in a turning lane with your daughter in your cruiser, just before I left on my alaska trip. Grey 60, 33s, front and rear bumpers.

I'll reintroduce myself, as I'm kind of a ghost in the GCLC club.
