just FYI. The BP gas station in cullowhee is for sale. THey are asking $969,000 for it. A little high in my opinion. Anyways, comes with management in place. Good opportunity for some income generating property in cullowhee.
 
Does it have just the shop or is there anything else?
 
it's basically the gas station and the property it sits on, also below the gas station (around back is the entrance) is an apartment. Also included in the price is the little storage shed-thingy that sits beside the gas station that is used as a nail salon and is rented out.

Honestly, as an investment, i think it's a good piece of property, just priced high. If anyone is truly interested, let me know and i can make it work.
 
Not me. Heather and I are buying some land on Trail 1 if everything goes well next week.

Don't break your back because it's not exactly what I'd be looking to get into... but do you have any financials on the business itself (Rev, income) and the value of just the property? Wouldn't mind taking a look at that. Numbers can change interest level pretty quickly one way or the other.

I think it would be cool to get early ownership on something in that area. As fast as glenville, cashiers, highlands and WCU are growing, it wont be long...

My aunt who lives in sylva told me there is so much building going on in the area, they have put a hold on any new building permits until they get zoning in place.

As we all know, these are asking prices.

If i had some extra cash i would love to own some land up there.

Alex, Dan and I are looking for something that we can co-own that is minutes from the trails. Since we proved Tellico is only about 2 hours from his house with the 37's full of balancing beads, a mountain retreat is looking pretty good to us right now.
