I always like when I get a copy of my order with the parts inside the box - incase the label is trashed the shipping outfit can look in the box and then make a new label, plus I can check to see everything is there. If I mail payment I put a copy of my order in that envelope too, not like it costs an extra stamp.

Nice you are looking for them, before they start looking for you!

One of the best threads ever IMO. Is there a thread wall ?
Yes please. I had a manager one time that kept some "classic" should not be repeated printed emails hung on the backside of his door. This would be fun for sure

@shipmag The thread title needs to be something akin to, "Money Order for Transfer Case Fill Plug-to-Transmission Fill Plug Bypass Hose." Also, if you post a pic and describe the purpose / need, you'll probably get a half-dozen other orders.

I'm curious about the length of hose that Mudders are running between their various transmission / t-case combinations.

Over the years it has come down to two sizes. With mufflers help they came up with a 17.5" hose for their FJ60's. I have two GmFJ40's so I used my tsk rigs for the 12.75" length.

The hose goes from Fill plug of Transmission to Fill Olug of Transfer Case. When the Transfer case forward seal fails the Transmmission pulls the oil oil it of the transfer case. When you remove the Transmission Fill plug and oil flows out all over you you know the transfer case seal has failed. And the transfer case is low on oil and transmission is over filled. Sometimes the over fill will push out the front seal of the transmission and letting oil get on the clutch plate. If oil gets on the clutch plate, the oil and clutch material crystallize to a hard surface famaging the pressure plate. Some shops install the hoses so the above scenario doesn't happen. The correct fix is still replace the Transfer Case seal. And you still have to check your oil levels.

If it was mailed do you have the envelope with the senders address?
The address he had send on mud is not the same as on the envelope. And when I got
The
Mud message I had too many conversations I started to delete and unfortunately I deleted the wrong page before I realized it and wasn't able to retrieve it. I contacted Woody but couldn't afford to pay them to find it. So sooner or latter he will contact me Wanting his hose.
