Should we have a moderator?
Seems the list of new posts is over a page now.
And requests have been made for stickying a thread.

If no one steps up, I'll be happy to do it, but I already have a forum I mod,
and I don't own one of these fern Cruisers yet.

isn't woody the mod for here? just send him a personal email and i am sure he can do a sticky in a minute...

Creating FAQ threads that bring together all like threads as has been done in other areas would be a great thing too!

I kinda like the no mods. We're a renegade unit here in internat'l :ban:

I think a few stickys would be nice.. but any of the mods could do that. I have some time I can volunteer.

That settles it...

for now.
We do seem to be the most civil and polite group on here.
Must be all you ferners. :D
I'll put the idea to bed until more of us Mercans start showing up here and start hootin and hollerin, startin fights and what not.

I dont know, my man Woody is the CCIC (Chief Chimp in Charge) here. Ifn he wants or needs a moderator then so be it.

If others want one ask the Woodstr.

Newbie here, but wouldn't it make sense if the moderator was a "ferner" who was actually able to buy a Land Cruiser that is not available in the states?

well....... we are "mostly" canadian here. it's a canadian thing...... to be polite, or just to apathetic to really get up in anyone's face. lol

LOL...I already moderate two fishing websites for a good friend and the Coastal Cruisers board. How much more of a nerd do you want to make me, Dave? :D

C'mon, what's another forum? You're already a pro at this ;)

Tech content: The BJ/HJ sold in some countries come with non Toyota diesels :p

I like the "kiss" method I don't see anything wrong here, and I think we ALL get along great americans canadians whatever. I think it is a Diesel thing myself :D

Cheers to all,

Michael

Moderator: please move this thread to Chit Chat ;)

Wait a minute...the same description applies to you, and you know way more than me...giving you credibility...and you own a foreign Cruiser. I vote for you, Dave! :D

Sorry, I'm disqualified. I've blown my credibility too many times :)

Every cruiser is foreign, right? The only domestic 4x4 Toyotas are Tundras, Sequoias and Tacomas.

Tech content: Some people in town who work for NUMMI (Toyota assembly plant in CA) say the plant is in bidding against the other Toyota plants for the FJ Cruiser.

-an extremist can't be a moderator

A 'lil slighted that you didn't even mention my name Stone .. :flipoff2:

TY - *slipping back into chat ...*

I think we should sticky Jim Phillips' Biodiesel thread too. What ya think?

A FAQ would be nice but I started to think about all the International Cruiser models and running gear would be quite a undertaking. I guess if a FAQ was started we could add to it as it went along, but things are rolling along fine. On the other hand if it aint broke don't fix it.
