Howdy! I just installed the Marlin Seals in my Piggy. While I don't have any miles on them yet, I was very impressed with the design. They have a much wider seal area where they contact the inner axle, and the seal is part of an accordion sleeve that is able to "float" with the inner axle if it is bent or off center. They were under $10 each, and got here in 3-4 days. John

I agree that they are a good upgrade on the earlier axles. On the '80 seals it's the opposite, the stock type seal has a bellows/accordion and floats, the Marlin doesn't, it's much more solid, very little float.

Sounds like he just reverse engineered the two apps. Oh, well, I think I will be happy with mine. Only one way to find out. John

Won't be doing a birf job OR driving to PHX this weekend. To much cleaning and shopping to do before Thanksgiving. I got someone special coming to town and don't want to look like a total slob.

It's my 17yr old daughter, whom I've never met. I'm pretty excited and nervous. Long story, I'll tell ya sometime.

This calls for a remote location, campfire, Makers Mark and a few hours....:hhmm:

See what you've done, Alvin? John is scarred for life! He'll never be able to go bowling again.

As it should be, bowling balls are dangerous. Maybe next time John will stand in front of me when I'm shooting. :D

How about the 5th annual New Years Tucson Run. I have something in mind other than C-Gap this year.

It better be good. I thought it was the annual C-Gap run. I may hafta killya.

No pressure, though.

Alvin, you need to brace youself, when my wife's uncle Bruce discovered he had an extra kid, he was blessed with 2 more within a year..:D (gets cold in Montana I guess).

I can imagine the impression it would leave, a broken down cruizer in the driveway torn apart on jacks, grease and oil everywhere. Not to mention how Alvin would look like, covered in grease, oil and smelling of beer and sweat wearing some torn-up pants and a well stained wife beater. Then she looks across the street and sees my driveway covered with parts, motorcycles and 5 cars in various running conditions. :hillbilly:
