misfiring on cylinder #2

My '97 T100 engine check light comes on and the engine runs rough. OBD II code reader says misfire on cylinder #2. I change the spark plug wires and the spark plugs. I swapped the coil packs around. Still misfiring on cylinder #2. Would a faulty fuel injector cause the misfire reading on the OBD II ? What should I try next?

Have you checked compression? It could be an injector, but I'm not to familiar with that truck.

I would swap the plug and wire (if you can find a wire that will swap) from another cylinder, reset the code and see what happens. Start easy and free.
