I removed the mirror covers and can access the white plug to the mirror however I don’t what which is ground and which is power, does anyone know?

Do you have a voltmeter? I can take a picture of my connections later this evening if you don't have a voltmeter to check the wires.

Unfortunately I don’t. Worst case scenario I’ll do trial an error I just don’t want to mess anything up

Can you take a photo of the wires that you see? If I recall, +12v is either green or grey and GND is black or black/white.

I will tonight

I can confirm green is +12vdc and runs from the IGN-1 fuse. Ground is white with a black stripe...that's standard for Toyota. Do NOT assume black is ground on a 'Yota. ;)

Yeah, aside from the black/black-white wires I've seen little standardization in wiring code/color behind the dash. The tougher part is that many of the color codes for my 2016 are different than those in the generally available FSM. For example, for dash buttons I think green is + and white is GND for illumination.

Don't know if this helps. It should be for '13

@jefo13 I am trying to install the same kit. What year is your LC? Did you volt test these wires? Did you not use the smaller extension/adapter wires? Any other tips/feedback before I dive in?

Honestly I can’t remember. A year after, one of the many times the suction cup gave up and the radar fell, this one time it yanked the wire out. When I tried to re-install I fried the computer and the LC went to limp mode, this sucked because I was out of town. After 6 weeks of Toyota trying to figure out how to fix it and I learned my lesson. For $50 more than mirror tap, I went to my auto-sound guy and had it properly wired...
