I have a good running and shifting 2F motor and 4 speed out of a 84, fj60. Motor has 200k in it and other than the normal leaks is pretty clean.

This is only the motor and transmission. Transfer case is not for sale, I still need that for the motor swap.


This was de smogged by a previous owner

Not super interested in shipping, but can consider it. Buyer would need to make arrangements.

Clutch on the transmission has 10k on it. New oil pump, pulled the oil pan to re seal and figured why not while I’m in there.

New alternator too

No AC pump

Did the valve adjustment and found a super clean motor.

Figure $1200 obo takes all of it, I also have some spare parts, some seals and a new starter for it.

If someone wants one or the other too. Let me know. No reason these have to go together.

Some cylinder photos. Some scoring, also some cross hatch. Ran great until I pulled it apart. Was going to save it for a 40 project, it that is too far away.

I’m sorry, I didn’t make it as clear as I could in the posting, tranfer case is not part of the deal. I still need that.

If I were to re-use it I’d probably rebuild it and hone the cylinders.
