Much will depend on what bracket you are using. Posts 4 and 5 of this thread show how I did this in a F engine using a smog pump bracket. I have since replaced the F engine with a rebuilt F.5 engine and everything moved over just fine.

Ok thanks, I'm using the pump bracket from Georg @ valley hybrids on my 2F. He helped me finally figure it out.
I used a William dorry mount and bracket for a toy box and sag pump. Been working fine with 33/1050 mudder's for several years now without a hitch. Text me at billeverett61@yahoo.com and I can send some photos
