Hey there CSC,

My sister's shop in Avondale, AZ Firearms, is sponsoring a HUGE Volunteer Community Service Cleanup Project on March 7 from 8:00am to 2:00pm on the West Side of town at Miller Road and I-10. Just like the Four Peaks and Table Mesa cleanups. This would be a fantastic opportunity for those looking to give back to the community. They’re looking to get 200-300 volunteers out there to help beautify the area and keep it presentable for everyone to enjoy.

I've attached the flyer with all the details in PDF format.

I’ll be out there with my family bright and early waiting for the 105mm Howitzer…yes…the Howitzer…firing after enjoying a belly full of FREE Rudy’s BBQ…yes…FREE Rudy’s BBQ.

The area they're focusing on is very popular with outdoors folks of all types including major litter bugs unfortunately. I've attached the flyer in PDF format and pasted the details below including who/how to RSVP.

Come out and enjoy FREE lunch sponsored by Rudy's BBQ and get a chance to be on KTAR's Get Outdoors Show as they will be broadcasting LIVE. If none of that sounds good, how does firing a WWII Howitzer Cannon sound?? Come out for the Howitzer and BBQ and pick up some trash until they're ready!!

Bring some gloves, bags, water, etc. as mentioned on the flier.

RSVP on Facebook: http://goo.gl/472wuP or email: Kim@PotOfGoldEstate.com as soon as possible so Rudy's can plan on a head count!!

It's good to see the shooting community step up, I hope they get a great response.

Thank you to everyone who showed up this morning! We had an awesome turnout, excellent BBQ and I got to shoot a Howitzer!! Oh, we also filled up 2 giant dumpsters. :)

Just received word we had over 200 volunteers! Some before/after pics.

Great shot of the cannon shot on their FB page.

I need to build an expedition trailer around one of those, just strap a grill and water bucket onto the side and a rooftop tent on the skids....

Well done!
