Very Nice!!

Is that black or dk green?

How about pics of your 97...

Wow! Pretty neat place. I have heard of the name. Is that the lake in the middle of the Great Dismal Swamp? I have always wondered how to get out there.

Hi kids. I know it's been a long time since I was part of this group. Here is whats keeping me away from the cruiser group; I got married Aug 19th to the lady I have always waited for. Unfortunatly she was diagnosed with breast cancer Aug 02. We are having her treated at Yale New Haven Hospital in Conneticut. As soon as my lady is well again I really want to get back into the cruiser scene. Okay, point is don't write me off. I just have too much happening now to be a part of the group.
You all take care and keep posting pics. I look through here whenever I can.

Hey buddy,

You are not counted out. Get her better, that is priority, and the only priority at the moment. I got married too! August 22 actually ... Just a couple days from you! Well, I can't wait to get out to the trails either.

Yes, in the middle of the Great Dismal Swamp. Some of the lake is in Suffolk some in Chesapeake. Where we put in is down 17, and turn right on Ballahack rd and turn right at the end of that. It's a small ramp there. Paddle south for about a mile and then turn right at the first ditch and paddle 3 miles up(west). 10 HP and below can go in there. I think It was worth the 9 miles we paddled.

I was looking at google earth and figured out the path. I wanna go down there sometime. At first I thought maybe you drove back there. And I was thinking mud bog ... hahaha

Thanks! :D

So where are the trails around Hampton Roads? I have heard of a mud hole and brief trail area near the airport but outside of town it seems there would be lots but I havent had time to go exploring and nobody I talk to seems to know.

Hey,

I know plenty of trails in the area. A lot of in Chesapeake, some in Virginia Beach but they are sketchy. I don't like to tell specifics online, because of guys taking advantage of it, but I would be glad to show anybody around. I've explored pretty much this whole area, and Virginia Beach 100%. Also, near Yorktown, and the Williamsburg areas, there are some gorgeous trails!

As soon at the wifey gets better I am throwing some money at the 40 and exploring some trails. Everest, I would love to have you play tour guide. And Congratulations!

Thank you, and congrats to you too bud!

I'm getting into some 80 projects too: Building a drawer system with my dad, 11.00 XL's, and Comp springs (yes, overkill, but some of the ruts around here are crazy deep), sleeving my relay/tie rod, also doing a front radius arm flip.

Can't wait to get out there! :D Hi Five!

I really didn't think there was anything around here. I would love to see some of these trails. I doubt I can do anything soon because, I'm going to be buying a house in the Hickery area with some land on it. One day i'll have a nice garage on it and maybe we can have some of you guys over(Wrenching or meeting:)beer:)).

Sweet. I know that area well. Off of what road? How much "land?" ;)

Mud Bog? ;)

Just kidding. IH8MUD!

But, not really!
