We had a good time wrenching :wrench:that day but it was getting late and decided to split so we headed back home. I went home and had some of these:beer:

Then the following Saturday (11/29/2008) we wrench:wrench: on my truck and went to the same place at the base. We installed my used Slee Caster plates, installed new Slee stainless steel brakelines, flushed and bled the brake with Valvoline synthetic brake fluid. This wrenching went smooth without any hassle. Again, we started the day with Starbucks coffee to kick in the 80 Series Cruiser addiction:hillbilly:.

Pic #9. XD9000 Warn Winch that we did not get the chance to install due to us running out of time. Maybe next time.

Mike is now the new subject matter expert when installing Slee caster plates. He is the MAN! So any of you Mid-Atlantic Cruiser heads would like to join us on our next wrenching week end?

Hey, I'm cool this coming week end December 6. Where and what time are we going to meet. Preferably near a coffee shop/bagel shop, how about Panera bread on Greenbrier Parkway at 1000 AM?

very nice 80s

How would you like a closer shot so you can see Mike's truck sporting an IPOR rear bumper:grinpimp:?

So Wes, are we still going to meet on December 6? I'm okay on that day, no work and the :princess: is at work so I'm free.

The Sonic on Nimmo Parkway is brand new, really nice !!! Is that too far from everybody? I would say lunchtime would be awesome ...

Just a thought ...

I don't know where Nimmo parkway is. But lunch time is great. The sonic over on volvo and battlefield has Lowes next to it with a big parking lot. I'm guessing Nimmo parkway is in VB.

Yeah ... Off of General Booth. The one on Volvo sounds fine though, if that is closer to everyone else ...

I've seen jeep guys at the one at volvo because it connects with the Lowes parking lot there. Unfortunatly there is a lot of construction on that exit.

Hmmm, well there is also one by Lowes on Holland Road, but that's a part of town I don't visit much ;) The Chimney Hill area.

Any other suggestions ????

This is a perfect site to mingle and across the street is the Starbucks Coffee. You can use the exit at Greenbrier Parkway and use Eden Way to get to Lowe's/Home Depot/ Sonic so you can avoid the constructions. Lunch time is okay with me.

One more good location is the Panera Bread across from Greenbrier Mall. Don't know if you guys want to be there or not but the Sonic location is good enough.

So say 10ish in the morning is okay at Sonic?

I usually eat lunch at noonoclock, but ten is fine :D

I think we have a coffee addict on our hands! ;)

That sounds like a plan ... Does everyone agree?

Noon is fine with me also, no worries if we can not make it at 10ish. I'll call mikedamageinc so he can come.

2everest, since you were the one who started this thread, you may want to PM those who responded to this thread to let them know that we have another meet and greet. It is not too late of the week to PM them all:grinpimp: Thanks.

I can do that ... Let's confirm real quick then ... Sonic Drive-In on Volvo Parkway, Chesapeake, Virginia at 12:00 on Saturday, December 6, 2008

Sounds Good,
