Metaltech Rock Slider Gap (1 Viewer)

Installed my Metaltech sliders and on the driver’s side the gap is about 1/8” to the body. On the driver’s side it’s probably double that. I’m wondering if this small of gap will cause me any issues later? Also, I don’t really see how adjust the gap. The slider brackets are flush against the frame top and bottom. Any thoughts?

My sliders practically touch the body at the front. I have taken a pretty good hit dropping onto a rock, and they didn't budge.

Thanks! That's good to know. BTW, the mark on the body is from me trying to stick something there to measure the gap.

I'll admit, it was quite a jarring hit, and when I got out of the truck I feared the worst. The sliders paid for themselves at that moment, with barely a scratch in the paint.
