anyway, matters at hand. It's looking like I may even be able to head East Thursday night, probably leave pavement at Cle Elum, do upper Peoh point road down Taenum Canyon and backroad it to the Clockum... Monday I have to have cell service for a couple hours to pay the bills, but then was thinking head over Wenas to 410, stay Monday night and roll back in early am Tuesday~ I h8traffic...

I'm really looking forward to wheeling, hanging, re-connecting, and meeting the new people, Douglas is already plenty warm, it was 93* weekend before last and was a refreshing dip! No real hardcore action unless you consider the views.

This trip sounds awesome, exactly the kind of trip I'd like to start doing. Can't make it this time, as I'm already taking time off in June to go to the NW Overland Rally.

My name is Chad, by the way. I'm pretty new to MUD and the off-road scene in general; hope to meet some of you local guys sometime soon for some off-pavement exploring. I'll be watching the thread for more events to join in on.

This weekend looks like it's going to be great! Weather should be in the upper 70's, maybe even 80's with plenty of sun. It sounds like people are getting things squared away and a lot of mechanical issues are being resolved.

If possible, I'd ask that everyone bring a bundle or two of firewood if you can manage it. We should be able to crossload some stuff if needed. I haven't seen anything about any burn bans, but do know that finding wood out where we're going can be tough. Nothing will finish the day better than a good fire.

Yeah, we're going to meet up on Parke Creeke road Friday night. Save the drive out for Saturday... don't want to miss the views

Caleb - it sounds like you're going to be the first out there. Kadar and Aaron won't be too far behind you. They'll be looking for the 4BT-40 along Parke Creeke.
