So I purchased this truck a few Months, a few thousand dollars, and around 150 hours or wrench time ago and while I dig it, it is not really filling the spot that I thought it would in life. So it goes up to Mud prior to going to the wild to try to sell it. I would rather it goes to a fellow Mudder, or at least someone who can use it as it was designed to be used. So let's start with the good things...
Just put on New front Brakes and rebuilt the Knuckles on the front end. The right side was a damn mess so I felt it needed to be done prior to selling.
Both Catalytic Converters and the Center Muffler have been replaced in the last few months.
Just replaced the EGR Valve and replaced the upper PCV hoses that were split.
Truck has a 1" body lift and OME j Springs and spacers installed with 35" tires on it now.
Rear axle has been locked with a Lunchbox locker front axle is open. Front Axle has Longfield Super Axles. Center Diff lock button has been added to the dash.
ARB bull bar on the Front and a Cheap 9k Badlands winch in it. Safari Snorkle installed.
Lower 8" of the Truck have been Herculined and the flares have been removed.
The Roof Rack has been removed and sealed Up including Flex Seal over the top of the mount holes. Set of Yakima Cross bars on there now.
Stereo is a bluetooth enabled double din touch screen JVC DVD unit. New Antenna mast installed
Ran a 10 Gauge Fused Power supply to the Rear Cargo Area, Wired in Cig lighter socked and Inverter that can be switched on or just charge your phone from the USB port.
No Rust in the undercarriage to speak of.
I did build out the rear of it for a single Sleeper setup ( for climbing trips ) The Drawer out the back has a frame that extends forward over the Second row seat, End result is 6.5 feet of sleeping room in the truck and still plenty of room for Gear in there. See pics and if you want it removed I can pull it out in a few minutes, Just bolted into the third row seat mounts.
The Bad,
Well there is the mileage, Currently at 290K Runs fine and the EGR valve should take care of the last of the Check engine lights. The upper valve cover could use a new gasket if you were going to leave the motor in place, Or if you are feeling like an engine swap let it be.
The clear coat on the vehicle is failing in a few spots and there is some rust around the Tailgate and from stone Chips around the Windshield, Nothing major but just trying to make sure there are no surprises.
Dent in the rear corner, you can see the bumper but the quarter is dented in a bit as well, hard to see with the Herculiner.
Crack in the windshield that runs the length of the windshield but is down by the wipers so I have not bothered with it.
Tires are cupped out a bit and noisy but still serviceable for a while, especially if you aren't road tripping it.
The interior is pretty tired. Drivers seat needs some serious love. When I purchased it I got home to find a mouse nest in the Headliner, and in the Dash. the Entire interior including the Dash were pulled from the truck and everything scrubbed down with Simple Green. Every once in a while I can still catch a wiff of the lovely scent of Mice, but pretty well cleared up now. The Carpet in the Rear was missing when I bought it.
I do have the original open rear differential, and the Third row Jump seats if you would like them, and a Full size Steel rimmed spare that does not match the other 4 tires.
Willing to Deliver this anywhere from Medford to Fort Collins CO for the Cost of Fuel if that helps with sale. Otherwise can work with a shipping company if it goes that way.
According to NLXTACY this thing would take one of the Wits End Turbo Kits So if you need to give it more pep that is an option.
Hopefully someone on here is looking and this will fit the bill, Was stoked on this truck when I bought it but after a few 12 hour drive days in it, and no wheeling to speak of, I think I am heading in a different direction.
