I'm looking for a cruiser shop, MUD member or a resto shop of some sort that could inspect an FJ40 in St Thomas, PA. The truck is a 1965 and looks real good.

I would be going in on this with my father who is located in Delaware and we are hoping to have someone far more knowledgeable than the two of us check this truck out before we go to PA.

If anyone has any thoughts please let me know. I'd be happy to compensate a member if they are nearby and feel confident in inspecting a vehicle.

Here is the ebay ad, it didnt sell and we are in touch with the seller. http://www.ebay.com/itm/151634096577?_trksid=p2060353.m1438.l2648&ssPageName=STRK:MEBIDX:IT

Thanks everyone.

Looks like a nice paint job and shiny new bolts.
It's curious that there are no pics of the engine bay, axles or frame.
You might want to post up in the PA club houses, since most of our members are a fair bit South of St Thomas PA.

I'm in touch with someone who is respected in the forums from PA. I'm just hoping to have a few options if nothing pans out on getting an inspection done through the keystone clubhouse. I appreciate the feedback and was suspect of the lack of underbody and engine bay. The owner sent us some pics that all look good, not sure why he didn't post them on the ebay when he had it up there for auction....

Have someone look it over really close. I've seen three or four fresh "restorations" lately that were super shiny up top and all junkyard underneath. Folks have seen how much Cruisers are going for now, and hacking them together out of mis matched trucks and filling them full of bondo and selling at a premium. I'm not saying this is one of them, just to check it really close. I've seen a couple of people pay way too much for way too little truck.
