Measurement of rubber hood blocks for windshield - 1973 FJ40 (1 Viewer)

I purchased new rubber pads for the windshield to sit on when folded down against the hood. Problem being I put the windshield down and the wiper hits the hood. I threw away the old ones so I cannot compare the height. If one of you could measure both heights (short and tall portions) I would truly appreciate it.

I also had the rig painted removing and replacing the wipers but they look right. Trying to determine if new pads are just shorter than they should be.

You windshield is the correct '73 version with the wiper motor on the passenger's side interior, wipers up top?

Yes I believe so. Wiper on top. Motor on passenger side running to wiper on driver side.

The taller side goes toward the windshield... it should rest on the frame
