Yeah... so I just hit an elk this evening while in Montana. I am looking if anyone has recommendations for repairing an LC 200 in minnesota where I am from. Vehicle seems drivable (will get it checked by the Bozeman Toyota dealer in the AM). Alignment seems fine. Battery seems fine but is leaking washer fluid.

Glad everyone is ok, that could have been so much worse. I also want to applaud the restraint the community has shown as we made it a whole 24 hours and nobody has yet responded to this post with “Cool pic, now what size are those tires? Do they rub?”

Glad you're okay...I've wondered how our rigs would fair in that situation as our roads are also littered with elk. Did you get to harvest any of the cow? Hopefully it died quickly.

Maybe my maths are wrong, but it appears that he posted at 7pm so I’d say it’s a little premature 😂

Seriously though, good that you and family are safe. It looks like it could have been a lot worse but thank goodness it wasn’t. Is your plan to deal with any major issues and then drive it back to MN?

Thanks, the plan is to get it checked out by a Toyota dealer this morning to make sure it's safe to get back. Then drive back and hopefully find a place comfortable working on it.

A local had dragged it off the road and put it out of its misery before I could check it out. They loaded it up in the back of their truck just as fast and offered half the meat to me.

Glad to hear you're all okay. Looks fixable, great time to upgrade to a steel bumper to help with the next elk/deer strike.

Elk collisions are no joke. You did a good job of keeping it on the road. I hope it’s drivable home.
