That’s close… post was 6 years ago….Group buy and some Negotiating if we can get a good number…I just replied to their UK distributor asking about details before giving me a quote. Radio silence from
Dubai.

I would spend $4500 for those front seats all day long. I love having thigh support. My legs aren’t exactly short stumps. It makes me wonder if the front seat were designed for short legged people. I deal with it as I love the 200 so much to not make it a deal breaker.

Well the Japanese aren't exactly known for being tall. I am average height at 5'10" but I have shorter legs than I should for my height so the leg extension part isn't all that important to me but I would like a more all together comfortable seat.

Im not exactly what i would call tall but my legs def wander. Specially the left leg has no where to rest. Dead pedal is not a comfortable spot either. I can rest my right knee on the center stack side trim though as it has a nice strip of padded leather. But my right knee gets beat up on the door plastics over time.

Thigh supports would go a long way to reduce the feeing of having to keep your legs raised. My seat is already almost all the way back too.

Its weird how the interior space kind of disappears in the 200. I dont feel cramped but your mind kind of expects more from the sheer size of it.

I agree, it feels smaller inside than it looks from the outside. It's not exactly small but it's not spacious either. I am indifferent about it but it's definitely noticeable.

I think the 20k mentioned above is the front and rear and the fancy center console.

The rear seats and console is 10k

Add fancy stitching. Front seats and install gets you to about 20k

The quote of 22K was actually a discounted price from 24K. This quote was from their Russia headqaurters. This was around 2020 and it included;

1. Front seats with massage
2. Rear seats with center console
3. Napa leather + installation

It did not include the door cards, headliner, belts or Pillars.

There are knockoff versions of the setup for much less. What I think is that the core is done by one company in China, and the rest is up to the distrubutor/white label reseller (I also remember finding the chinese company)

I think if i ever did mod the seats i would have someone add a longer thigh pad cushion inside and extend stitch some lower leather over it. No way i can justify these kind of costs.

no. If you look at the video I posted above an installer or you removes the OEM seats and take off the stock covering and you install the new covering with all the doodads onto the OEM frame and reinstall it in your car.

I think 4K is a reasonable price for what they offer. If it is as good as the claim. Good custom leather work is expensive.

Just wish I could sit in one and inspect it.

But if you can re-cover 2 seats with improved vent. Improved support. Massage I don’t really care about and it’s another thing that could break in the future but if it makes wifey happy and rationalizes the purchase for her then great.

Heat will still be OEM which I think is adequate.
Safety/airbags are still all integrated into the seat frame.
Regular seating adjustment and position memory should all work OEM.

It looks pretty diy friendly. Or pay a custom
Upholstery shop to do the install for you. They claim 4-5 hours for install time on their website.

At this price I think no one is gonna buy....

But in the future if shipping prices come down...and world harmony is restored...I may revisit the option.

Agree with the moral sediment, but also there is a distinction between a person in a country trying to run a business and make a living vs the regime of the country acting a fool...a topic for a discussion at a different time and place.

Likely will all ship to me in SoCal and either local pick ups or people will have to pay for shipping to their location. The boxes look like what a office chair disassembled come in. But I will try to get measurements and weight.

Also this is a lot of money so not sure the best way to go about it. But I could look for a local cruiser shop that might be willing to be the middle man but we’d have to pay them something.

Or we can trust the community that’s been built here and just do it old fashioned way.
