Anyone using this tire?
Looks like the best compromise between road noise and offroad traction.

Here’s a review. Maxxis Razr MT Review

There’s more of them praising it. Just curious if anyone has them and likes them.

Was gonna go with BFG KO2’s but the sidewall of the Maxxis looks stronger and more aggressive.

Nice. They look like a hybrid AT/MT. Like the KM3

I'm running these tires. 285/70/17. They are very quiet on tar for a MT tire, better than the Bighorns I had previously. Good on the wet tar and performs well off road. Did an overland trip through Botswana (our neighbours) and the roads were pretty bad. The Razrs never skipped a beat and traction was phenomenal especially in deep water crossings. I'll definitely recommend them.

Sounds like a good tire for those conditions.
I’m interested in the performance in the snow and on ice. Mud terrains behave pretty poor in snow so I’m wondering if an all terrain is what I really want...like a BFG KO2. They have a range C now but is that enough sidewall thickness for anything other than rock crawling or sharp rocky terrain? Or get the louder range E with a thicker sidewall?

I’ll say this though....been wheeling last weekend with my brother’s Jeep on 35’s ProComp M/T and they were outstanding in the deep snow on some gnarly trails but man so so loud on the pavement....
