MaxTrax on Stock Roof Rack?

I know Maxtrax sells those attachments for roof racks, but will they work the stock rails?

Or does anyone have some clever ideas?

You could then use a bolt setup or maybe still use the maxtrax pins.

For a quick test use mega heavy duty zip ties. I'd secure both sides of the boards.

The way uv damages plastic I'm surprised no one is using bigsky gun racks to mount near headliner in the rear of cabin.

I'm good with them inside the car. I don't think they will fit. I haven't measured though....

Tons of options for interior fishing rod holders out there. The cheapest and easiest is to run a simple bungee and loop it around each. The offerings from Inno are my favorite but they aren't cheap. They make multiple models based on how many you want it to carry/hold.

Or, instead of cable ties, you could use stainless steel hose clamps. Much stronger and not quite as easy for someone to walk on by and cut, yet easy to undo when you need them.

Drill holes through the cross bars and bolt the Maxtrax mounting pins through them. That would likely be cheap and easy

I mount one of the clothing rods on the upper grab handles in the front and rear to put rods on and hold them on with some 3M hook and loop cut to the appropriate size. It’s not the best option by far, but it’s cheap and it works.
