Interesting, never heard of them... they seem to be popping up everywhere

Jap .. pimp definition for steering wheel .. :grinpimp:

now thats too ugly. Why do alot of JDM imports have those wheels?

Wayne and others, you should keep an eye out for stock wheels to offer replacement for some buyers. As I would not want the steering wheel from a boat in my cruiser.

Although wood steering wheels do suit old vintage cars like MG's

A buddy of mine bought a town ace from Max overdrive. He said it went pretty smooth and he has had no problems since. The van was in MINT condition with about 50,000 kms. Max Overdrive is in Richmond.

Wonder why they'd import an HZJ 81 instead of an HDJ 81.

Do the HZJ-81 get better milage than the HDJ-81?

looked like a more basic model. My kinda truck. I no need any bling bling.

Crank windows for me.

That steering wheel belongs on a lexus not a Land Cruiser, I hate fake wood it looks so cheap

I don't like the funky steering wheels either. Kept the one that came with my BJ74 for a while, but managed to get an OEM one from G&S to replace it. That's a MOMO teering wheel...I would highly doubt that the wood is fake. MOMO usually = $$$.

each to their own, i like the wood as my hands do not sweat as much with the wood ones...
i have no idea as to how these guys are but some of their pics are auction pics... Dayrl, do they have these in stock?
i have also noticed that many of the "new" importers stick up auction shots and then do not have the trucks bought, i guess some could be "testing the waters" for interest

I don't know anything about them other than they are advertising here on mud in our revolving banner ads.

I was hoping to get some imput about them for others. In case they are bad to deal with or good.

If I get positive or negative feedback on them I can add it to our importing FAQ.

If I do not it will just fade away.

Gotta be some Vancouver guys on here who know these guys.

I have seen five half cuts that were FDJ 81's and thay all had nice mods done to them. They had turbo timers, IPF lights, suspension mods, custom steering wheels and 3" exhausts. What I found more interesting is that they had thick carpet that looked like what someone would have at home and it looked as if it were factory.

Thanks for the input.

I hope it will cover all the queries to members:
All cars are in stock, they are all located in 3411 No 3 Road, Richmond, BC. We are not testing the water.

BTW I forgot to add: I am not only an importer, a licensed British Columbia Auto Dealer as well.

Yes terrible and tasteless The people that buy these things also buy the 20 inch rims with low profile racing tyres and spoilers to turn their 100 series into a race car:eek::D

Welcome aboard! glad to see a vendor participating on the forum.

As you can see this thread was started to see who you guys are.

As noticed by the banner you purchased here on MUD.

Glad to here from a vendor as well, welcome!

Do you have any more pics of that HZJ-81? (And is it actually an HZJ and not an HDJ?)

Cheers :)

Edit: Just checked your page, dont see a toyota link anymore... sell 'em all already?

We had some server problem, taking care of the Toyota page. Will be up and running shortly.
