I was wondering if somebody can tell me if it is the original engine that's in my 67 Fj40?:




The only similarity I see is the F in front and the 9 at the same position in both serialnumbers, but does that say something?

No way to know for sure.

65 was the last year I believe the engine serial number was on the VIN plate. After that the original warranty card had the engine serial on it.

I have never seen the round 67 add on plate attatached to an upper firewall screw.
