So I attempted to order new grab handles for my 62 from Toyota and I ended up with a bit of a mis-matched set.

The handle over driver door (74610-90K00-A0) and the screw covers (74617-16010-A3) are an Ivory color and match well.

The handles over all passenger doors and rear hatch (74610-10020-13) are a light grey and the screw covers (74617-14010-B3) are a medium grey and don't match.

Does anyone know of a light grey screw cover that will work for the passenger handles? I think the Ivory vs Grey won't be very noticeable but if anyone has a better match I'd love to hear it. I swear there was a thread I saw a few months back where someone did a similar replacement without issue but can no longer find it. Thanks!

I posted this a long time ago.

I had read this one. The part for what you put on A-Pillar matches. My issue is finding the replacements that match for the ones over the middle of each other door. Didn't see that in the thread. These:

The part numbers you list in your first post are not associated with land cruisers. The handles are from an ‘82 to ‘89 4Runner (in the USA) and other non-USA vehicles and the cover is from a non-USA vehicle called the coaster. Perhaps the land cruiser parts are discontinued.

OK. I took a little digging but the screw covers that should match the light grey 4runner handles you have are part number 74617-14010-13.

An identified substitute for -13 is -43 which also seems to supersede to -B3. Check with your dealer to see if the -13 part is available and give that a try.

Much appreciate teh help. When I check a few Toyota parts dealers that number takes me to the B3 variant which is what I got and is a darker grey.

Megazip returns similar and Partsouq shows NLA:

Wondering if this is the best it will get as far as matching.

If the lighter gray is discontinued, you could try finding new handles and covers that do match--but this seems to be an expensive option. If you are near auto recyclers you could look there for something (matching set or just covers)--while your handles were originally used in a 4runner it was not offered in every version. Another option would be to post up in the IH8MUD classified for someone parting out.

Did these grips come with plugs? The photo on TPD shows plugs and screws, and it was hard to tell if one of the other plugs was the right part, based on their photo
Scroll up to my post. All the part numbers are in the first pic. Screw Covers are separate from Handles.

@Jamieson22 I went through those numbers but wanted to clarify if the last part number on your list the plug for the handles above the doors? The pic on TPD is an amorphous black blob, so it was hard to tell 😁

Thank you for the list. It was critical to finding the grey handle. TPD doesn’t show it as being compatible with my 88 FJ62 so it wasn’t showing up in my searches for “grip” (not to mention their photo makes it look yellow). Added all these to my cart 👍🏼

Never mind. I just saw your quantities, so that answered my question. Thanks!
Yep. 4 handles + 8 covers, 1 driver handle + 2 covers, and 10 screws for them all. Kind of hard to believe you can update all 5 sets to new including hardware for $80 delivered.
