Marlin Crawler Front knuckle service kit

I'm trying to call Marlin, but cannot get through. I'm looking to order the front axle service kit with trunion and wheel bearings, etc,etc. It's confusing, as it says on one heading that this will work for 1975-1989 FJ40, 60, etc. But, under the description where you add to cart, it says application is 1979-1989 FJ40/60. Will this kit work with a 1978 disk brake axle? Anyone know? I've tried to call for an hour now and wanted to get this ordered today.

The later kit is for the wide pattern knuckles. My '78 has them, but most places indicate they started in '79, so mine may have been swapped in. Measure the pattern on the top of the steering arm and post the results. If the trunion bearings are the same the kit would be interchangeable just by having both styles of shims, but I'm not sure if they are or not.

Just get it from Kurt at Cruiser Outfitters; he has kits with OEM Koyo bearings and Marlin heavy-duty seals. He will answer the phone; as a matter of fact, I just got off the phone with him.

It will be a little more expensive though. It's all OEM parts.
