Hey Mr. VP what is the word on the next meeting(march)...........

Also I have now been a member of Upstate Cruisers and I have only been on one offical trail ride??????? That is not good the reason I bought a Landcruiser and joined the club was to Offroad. Spring is in the air and we need to plan a good trail ride, for March or early April. Also when I say trail ride, that means a trail where you might actually break something and body damage is possible. We the Clemson Mafia(the young guns) have been wheeling a fair amount, but I haven't gotten to wheel much with the other members of the club.

We have some pretty decent trails around here: Mountain Estates, Hush Hole, Bruelers Ford, and Tellico isn't that far away.......... so lets get something going!!!

And who knows given long enough Clemson55 might even have his pig running, ahhh probaly not getting a new ignition coil is a very involved process, better give him till atleast May.................:flipoff2:

I'll have it in sat afternoon and maybe we'll be able to fire it up then. Of course the minute we do we'll find a new problem like every other time. LOL thats how it goes with the cruisers though.

is that a Vermont thing............ I thought I lived in redneck country, but I have never heard that one before........

Well I just noticed in the Trail Rides section here on mud there are a group of guys planning on making a trip to Uwharrie the first of April when it opens. I personally think it would be a great club event, I know the club has been there in the past and heard it was awesome. Also it would be really cool to meet some fellow Ih8muders and Cruiserheads alike........

Just and idea

Malp, does that give you long enough to get the 40 rollin??? I owe you some labor any ways for you helping me get the 40 ready for tellico........so seriously if you need any help and it doesn't involve thought :) let me know....

First Saturday

at Sonic. How about Easley again?
Lynn will just be returning home from the hospital
then so YOU make the call.
UWharrie sounds great. I can't make it.
GSMTR is next up for me. If you are disappointed
I can't do a dang thing about that except personally
offer you your $10 back. Elections are coming up
at the next annual meet. Vote this rascal out!
Oh and by the way.....a wrenching party sounds like what we need.
I need to slap my lunchbox back in....hehe....GSMTR looms.
Suggestions?
Shoot man, when ya wanna do sumpthi' just do it and save the whine for some cheese. flipoff

Is anyone going to GSMTR? I know its a little ways off but I was just wondering. I want to go. But will have to see.

haha no whine here......... just want to get some of you, cough, cough, more seasoned guys out there wheeling with us....... I have much enjoyed my 1st year of membership with Upstate, I have met some greats folks, and had good times, no refund neccessary here. Just hoping to spend quality time with my cruiser and fellow cruiser heads.

On a side note, are grumpy still about us giving you hell for being a Gamecock there David I since some hostility in your post there :flipoff2:
I told the other guys we should never give a Gamecock any ranking position in the club, we will get a Clemson guy in there and make everything right.....................:)

The first Saturday works for me, then again any Saturday is good for me.......:)

Sorry to hear that your wife is in the hospital, I hope it is nothing major and wish her a speedy recovery:)

Stay tuned to this channel and

watch for the GSMTR thread to appear. Several members
always attend. Some have already rented cabins etc.
Several camping too. You should plan on going. You
don't want to miss it.
I think this is my 9th GSMTR in a row.
Details will come clear as it approaches.

I imagine quite a few guys for Upstate will be going, Gundy will now for sure. They always rent a cabin or chalet as david calls it:) and, it appears to be one big party with cruisers thrown in. I wish I could make it, but summer school looms for me, if I ever want to graduate.........

Awww...shoot no! I'm not offended in the least. I removed my post
from that other thread because they were too harsh and I wouldn't
want outsiders to see all those horrible Clemson jokes.
It is still family. I'll tell those to you this fall in person. :)
The "flipoff" was an attempt by an old fart to seem hip. LOL...
I failed.
Thanks for the thoughts for Lynn. Surgery is set for next Monday
at 11:00 a.m.
Week plus hospital stay. Excellent prognosis.

Excellent prognosis is great news, again wish you and Lynn the best and glad to see you don't hold any grudges........and we will see what Spurier can muster up next fall, I'll be in Columbia and hopefully the one telling the jokes then;)

David,
We hope spurrier can turn it around for you we definitely need a little more competition. It would probably help the rivalry get the recognition it deserves since it doesnt get squat now. I hope everything goes well with the surgery and hopefully I'll be driving the pig to the next weeting. I got a real experienced wrencher (my dad) coming to give me a hand this weekend.

Cruiser or no Cruiser I"ll be there. Looking foward to meeting the rest of the "Mafia".

David, my thoughts and prayers go out to you, hope everything goes well.

Matt

sounds more like a wrenching drop in....... you guys need to break more/bigger stuff Gehn/Gundy, we could fix all of that in no time.......... now if you had a blown engine or maybe a primer gray 40 that is the kind of stuff worthy of a party..............;)

This weekend looks good for 2 of Clemson's Mafia chuck has the 40 up and running now we just have to make it stop............ and richard hopelly just has some small electrical issues..........
before long with any luck we can pop 2 cruiser cherries out on the trail......:)

I'm definitely gonna be wrenching on sat starting early in the morning have to get my DD going first though. I think some adult beverages will be in order by the afternoon though. So if anyone wants to come by we can kill both those birds at once.

You can definetly count me in for GSMTR (already got my registration back). I do however still need to make the Cruiser pass all the tech isues ( e-brake, licence and registration, but nothing major.

Gundy, how strict are they at GSMTR about tech? JP, Malph and VT can vouch that the truck is good to go but I still dont have an e-brake...

May 18th isnt that far away......

GSMTR thread to start next week

Great to hear you are coming! They are pretty strict about rules.
You'll need a parking brake. They will accept line locks.
You have to have something working as an e-brake.
Check off your list that STLCA provided and you will be fine.
They WILL inspect the truck.
You are right about May 18 is looming ever closer.

Malp I have seen at least 2 e brakes on ebay in the past couple weeks. watch for it and post in the wanted I bet you could find the setup for a reasonable price.
