Our scheduled trail ride is Metberry Gulch on Saturday, March 19th, 2022. Check back here before Saturday morning for updates!!!

Meet at the Alta Convenience Store in Crystola between 8am and 8:30am. The group will depart the parking lot at 8:30am.

Bring lunch and snacks! It might be a long day!

We use GMRS/FRS radios, so if you have one or a pair bring them! HAM/Amateur Radio, too!

Bring repair parts and tools, tire snow chains, traction boards, and general recovery gear.

Dang, wish I was back in Woodland for this one. I'm at the shop instead. :(

EDIT: I'm going to pass on this. Just not feeling up to anything. Hope to catch the next one.

Interested. Still looking at reviews. Have a set of chains I want to try out.

I've been volunteered to work on Saturday, so I'm out (bummer). @twbland can you lead the group? @LC4LIFE are you going to be able to make it?

Hello! I may join this, if it ends up happening. Question - is this an LC thing or can a mostly stock taco come along?

Krispykritter, I hope you can make it tomorrow. By all means, bring your taco.

Oh I'll be there in my 100. My buddy in the taco isn't sure if he'll be joining me or be going into work for the second weekend in a row!

I plan to make it but coming down from Denver so probably be at the meet point closer to 830.

I will be there ready to see some beautiful country and good friends. I will bring some chains for Vic.

What a fun trail that was! Thank you all for having me. Hopefully someone got some good video of be barely not scraping that giant rock! I had a good ole time. I'll get some pictures and videos up tomorrow.

What a beautiful day. Vic brought a bunch of friends. Two of them brought a F150. We went to Metbery off 67 by way of West Creek. Half as much snow as last year. We followed tracks until we got to the entrance. Sam was the trail breaker in his 4Runner with chains in the rear. Vic was the tail gunner with chains on the rear of his Lex. I slid the same way and at the same spot as last year. I didn't get hung up or loose a bead this year. Snow was drifted to 18 in. in spots. Sam, Chris (Crispy Critter) and I made it to the river. Cris had a short winch at one point. By the time we were heading out it had sun on the trail and what was packed snow in the tracks turned to mud. When we finished Metbery Chris headed North to go home and the rest of us headed South on 51. There was about a dozen 15 to 20 foot waster holes to cross. Blue sky all day, temps in the 40s and for the most part not too windy.

David climbing back up chicken scratch hill

Me needing a little bit of winch to make it up chicken scratch hill. Turns out an unlocked 80 is better than a 100 + ATRAC =(

Hopefully someone can post up the video of me barely making it passed big ass rock 1! I wish we had video of the dodgey ass way we got David passed that obstacle. Sorry, @LCPilot, that almost ended badly!

Nice. My rig is down with a motor. I’ve got some pics and video of your bead blow last year though. I forgot about that good time! Missing out on all the dang darn fun!
