manual pump feed to electric over hydrolic

has anyone converted their slow hand pumped cylinders over to electric over hydrolic?
i have 2 portable E/H pumps, one for the hoist and the other for the press and i want to convert my pipe bender over to one of these, it would be time saving and much more enjoyable.
the cylinder shouldn't see the difference but i need to figure out how to either run a single line feed to the cylinder from a dual line (press) or just and adapter for the hoist to the cylinder.

anyone here schooled in hydrolics?

the dual action (compression and tension) electric mechanism would be very hard to convert to a pressure only system. Much easier to just use the hoist setup.

Although, you may need to swap out the ram as well.

actually i found an adapter that will work between the shop hoist and the pipe bender, tomorrow i will give it a try, if it works excellent, if it doesn't the cost is acceptable.
i will report back either way.

and the result is ...
the hoist pump doesn't put up enough pressure to bend sch 40.

back to the drawing board.
